Ep. 76 Mean Girls: Destroy the Dollhouse

This week is Popcorn Therapy's first movie of 2024, and it's a movie that came out 20 whole years ago. That's right, it's Mean Girls (2004). Join us at the cool table with the Plastics and several SNL alumni as we discuss groupthink, cliques, autonomy, and teen development. 

Mean Girls was based on the book Queen Bees and Wannabees by Rosalind Wiseman.

It was directed by Mark Waters, and written by Tina Fey.

The cast includes Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, Amanda Seyfried, Lizzy Caplan, Daniel Franzese, Jonathan Bennett, and Rajiv Surendra.

SNL cast members include Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Tim Meadows, Anna Gasteyer, and of course it was produced by Lorne Michaels.
