Ep. 104 Office Space: The Impact of a Cult Classic

This week on Popcorn Therapy Shade and Chelsey are doing their TPS reports before 8 of their bosses can yell at them, because we're going back to the 90's for the cult classic comedy Office Space (1999, to be precise). So throw on some Geto Boys and destroy a printer while we dive deep into burnout, anxiety, work-life balance, and of course ~*flair*~.Office Space was written and directed by Mike Judge.The cast includes Ron Livingston, Jennifer Anniston, David Herman, Ajay Naidu, Diedrich Bader, Stephen Root, Gary Cole, Richard Riehle, and John C McGinley.

With a special bonus of Shade and Chelsey watching a movie about brainwashing produced by MTV while being further and further brainwashed into being nostalgic for MTV.

Join us as we go through the budding romance of Kena and Ziki as they navigate cultural norms and young love. We've got it all this week from talking about relationships, minority stress, and dating the daughter of your father's political opponents.
Rafiki was directed by Wanuri Kahiu. She is also a co-writer along with Jenna Cato Bass.
